Slow Cooker Shredded Chicken

INGREDIENTS

  • 2-3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • Salt (sea salt grinder or Kosher salt)*

  • Freshly ground black pepper*

  • Onion powder*

  • Garlic powder*

  • 3/4 - 1 cup chicken broth*

*indicates Kitchen Staple item

 

DIRECTIONS

Pat the chicken breasts dry and place in the bottom of the slow cooker. Sprinkle salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder over both sides of the chicken. Pour 3/4 - 1 cup of chicken broth around the chicken, so as not to disturb the seasoning on top of the chicken. Set the slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours (or high for 3-4 hours). Shred the cooked chicken with two forks and enjoy any way you like!
