All the recipes on this site have been tested personally by me. If they don’t fit the bill for delicious, easy, healthy, minimal mess, you won’t find them here! My style of cooking is simple, fresh and flavorful. I keep my kitchen/pantry stocked with key essentials, so that meal planning/shopping is based on what protein I’m in the mood for, along with a few fresh items. You’ll find recipes categorized by protein and season. I use ingredients from each recipe to create a “kid friendly” version, so I don’t have to make two meals for my family each evening. Pair the meal with a delicious glass of wine and my day feels lovely and complete! Cooking healthy and satisfying meals does not have to be difficult or stressful. Let me show you how…

STEP 1

Stock up on the ingredients I’ve listed on my Kitchen Staples page. Take a look at the list and eliminate any ingredients you don’t care for. Keep in mind that only a small quantity (depending on your family size), of each ingredient listed, needs to be kept on hand.

STEP 2

Choose 3 recipes (per bi-weekly shopping trip) to cook over the next 3 nights. Take into consideration the season, weather and time allotted for cooking. Try to choose a variety of protein sources, depending on what your family likes. Compile your shopping list and meal planning for dinner is done! Meal #7 for the week is up to you….go out for dinner, get take-out or use up leftovers from the week.
